ICS School Aides

The School Aide position is an entry level position leading to a career in teaching. School Aides perform several duties including administrative tasks and student mentoring.  The mentoring experience will give School Aides a chance to build rapport and interact with students.  School Aides are expected to collaborate with instructional and counseling teams in order to improve student outcomes through mentoring. School Aides must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED and a desire to move into the field of teaching.

Required Credentials:

  • A high school/ General Equivalency Diploma with a willingness to pursue a bachelor’s degree
  • Citizenship Status – INS Permanent Residence or U.S. Citizenship
  • Fingerprint clearance
