Integration Charter Schools is proud to announce that Dana Volini, our Vice President of Administration, has been recognized as one of SIEDC’s 20 Under 40 — an honor granted annually to just twenty Staten Island professionals under the age of 40 who are making a significant impact within our community.
Dana has been with Integration Charter Schools for eleven years, having begun as a 7th grade Mathematics Teacher at Lavelle Prep in 2011.She received her bachelor’s degree in Political Science at Arizona State University, her Master’s Degree in Middle School Education and Special Education from Touro College, and as a recipient of a Race to the Top grant, she received an additional Master’s degree from Wagner College in Educational Leadership and Administration.
Dana has worked within the organization previously as a Special Education Mathematics teacher, Special Education Coordinator, 7th-grade team leader and Director of Operations.
She currently oversees the office administration, human resources, child nutrition services, technology, facilities, finances, legal compliance, and data. Dana Volini is also is part of the SIEDC’s Executive Women’s Council and the Executive Club of Staten Island.
Dana is extremely honored to receive such recognition, and says, “I am incredibly grateful to be a part of the ICS family. When you fully believe in a mission and organization, there’s no such thing as work — it’s a passion and a privilege. I am so proud of everything ICS has accomplished and can’t wait to see what the future has in store for us, and our students.”
The virtual awards ceremony will be held on November 4, 2020 from 10am-11am, as part of the Virtual Business Conference and Health & Wellness Expo.
