Our Richmond Prep staff traded the classroom for the community in their Community Walk!

As part of our PD on Culture, Community & Context, our team walked through the neighborhoods many of our scholars call home. Guided by ICS student Loretta, we learned more about the community, the transportation realities our students navigate, and the resources supporting local families.

The experience reminded us that “meeting students where they are” starts with understanding where they come from.

We’re building a school community rooted in love, generosity, grace, and high expectations for every student who walks through our doors!
